And I absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED the engagement party with the demons in attendance! And look at Willow with trying out the demon cooking. I fear Buffy's stomach will never quite be the same. I don't think Buffy has thought that whole Scythe thing through though. Having only one Slayer - would it kill Faith? would one of them only lose their powers? it's tricky and by her messing up that part of the timeline...that would fail to give Dawn & Andrew a real chance to become friends, hence the daughter & granddaughter that Buffy misses so deeply. On the other hand, I truly see someone acting that upbeat and carefree if they are old and suddenly find a second chance to live in a body that is youthful and healthy. Hey, when I hit 40 and got depressed, so maybe that is why this story speaks to me--as well as being fun. Don't we all wish at the end we could have a 2nd go-around at life? I like how she still sees things through an older, wiser eye and doesn't let the little things upset her anymore. So true--somehow you pegged the concept perfectly! And treating Spike decently. What without her or anyone else intervention did she think this time would be different. It is not like she was burdened down with the same problems as the first time she went through it. So with no money problems, nerd problem, niping Dawn's problem in the bud, getting the sthyle and stuff, why didn't she help willow. Does she want Tara to die, she has been a witch for a long time. She should have started showing willow about control. I bet if in the past willow had hurt spike with magic, she would have dealt with the addiction already. Anyone beside my disappointment in her, this is a great little fic and I am sorry it will end soon. Maybe a squeal. I hope buffy and spike are seen again.

I smirked, smiled, chuckled and angsted while reading! very satisfying! delightful idea of willow catering. and even with the future looking not so good for xander- it seems hopeful- that even with anya and xander not marrying they are friendly - and in my estimation that means if xander left to live elsewhere he would keep in touch with all. If you ever run out of story ideas - a visit to this verse would be fun - say a few years down the road. I realized thru the slayer spell restoring the balance would mean spike would never wear the amulet etc. thats good I wondered since buffy wasn't calling forth all the potentials...I thought the slayer line continued with faith and she would stay the same then it seemed that buffy and faith were passed over with the power going to molly. I worried how would buffy live for years and years if she were not the slayer.
