A Chance Meeting By Ariel Dawn Summary: At the Bronze Disclaimer: Joss is god. I am a lowly plebe in the world of Spuffy….err, Spillow, that’s right I’m writing Spillow. Author’s note: Some dialogue taken from “Dopplegangland” Beta‘d by the excellent Bloodytearsoflife. _______________________ Chapter 3: Confirmed Following behind his dark and mysterious companion, Spike marvelled at just how easy she found minions to do her will. She was no fledgling vampire. Another fact to confirm his suspicions that there was a human Willow Rosenburg out there somewhere. Not that he cared. Whatever demonic spirit had brought this Willow to him, Spike wasn’t about to look a gift horse in the mouth. Right now, of course he was just letting the girl do what came naturally. As Willow saucily strode up to more vamps, about to make them see who was boss, he could feel his cock harden at the thought that she’d never lower herself to actually follow through with the suggestions she was making. Even if she did, he’d dust the pillocks who thought they could get into his girl’s pants. And she’d pay too, but it would be fun. Two more minions recruited and Willow was stepping back towards him, leaving the new minions to look on with envy, their arousal apparent, as she moulded herself against Spike’s body. Spike ducked his head and brushed his lips against hers. She tasted like power and strawberries. He couldn’t even remember what Drusilla had tasted like. With a skilful hand, Willow slid her fingers down towards his imprisoned erection, giving his cock a firm squeeze. His own hands found her breasts easily, returning the favour. He didn’t want to give the minions a show though. And neither did she. “Can we go back to the Bronze now?” she asked, suddenly sounding like a little girl, rather than the vampire she was. Spike pulled on her ear with blunt human teeth, before responding. “If that’s what you want, love,” he purred. The minions around them stood looking on at the public display of affection between the two masters. It might be that Willow was their mistress, but it was also very clear that Spike was the one in charge. Spike slid his hand down and cupped Willow’s ass, forcing her body against him and grinding his cock into her leather covered pussy. One of the minions groaned. Spike looked over to see him touching himself through his pants. That was enough to bring him back to reality. Spike let Willow go, and snapped the git’s neck. In an instant the minion was dust. Willow looked up and smiled. “I don’t need minions with a voyeurism fetish,” Spike grumbled. “Bronze now?” Willow asked. _______________________ Spike sent the minions in first. He could hear the screaming coming from the bar, bringing a smile to both his face and Willow’s. Pulling her towards him, there was no way she couldn’t notice how she turned him on. Her demonstration of power in attainting the stupid gits that were preparing the Bronze for their entrance, her thirst for blood, it was all going straight to his cock. He couldn’t keep his hands off of her. “After,” she said firmly, pushing his hands off. “Now,” he ordered. “During?” she suggested in compromise. “Better make it worth my while,” he growled in response. “Oh I will,” she promised, smiling prettily up at him. Willow took his hand and led him into the Bronze, the smell of fear permeating the building. “Look. Everyone’s all afraid,” she commented with a happy sigh. “Just like old times.” “Smells right delicious, pet,” noted Spike at her side. “Off you go, this is your party.” Gently she detached her hand from his and walked about the room, taking in all the scared faces. With careful grace, Willow selected a girl sitting primly at a table. She would make a delightful example. “What’s you name?” Willow asked sweetly. From across the room, Spike looked on with pride. She had the whole place hinged on her every word. The chit at the table responded with her name, the fear in her voice making Spike smile. “You don’t have to be afraid… just to please me,” noted the red headed vampire. “If you are all good boys and girls, we’ll make you young and strong forever and ever.” Willow turned her victim to the stage, and touched the girl like she was some precious pet. “We’ll have fun,” Willow continued, just as she pulled the girl’s head to the side, revealing an expanse of neck to sink her fangs into. Staring at Spike, Willow gave the girl’s neck a long lick. “If you’re not…” Willow continued, her eyes returning to the masses watching her every move. The shift from human guise to demonic was quick, and Spike felt his cock harden further as Willow sank her fangs into the girl’s neck, drinking deeply. Without knowing he was moving, Spike stepped towards Willow, coming to stop just in front of her and the girl she was drinking. Willow let the girl’s lifeless body fall to the ground with a thump. Spike leaned in and licked the residual blood from Willow’s lips, earning himself a smile. “Questions? Comments?” Willow continued, her eyes watching the crowd once again, her hands exploring Spike‘s black covered body. Cool hands had nestled themselves under his shirt when another voice cut through the din. “Willow. You don’t wanna do this.” Spike looked up to see a member of the band, a familiar face, but he couldn’t quite place him. He was being held back by one of the minions. Willow turned in Spike’s embrace, staring down the human who’d interrupted her. “I don’t?” she asked, looking him up and down. “But I’m so good at it.” “That you are, pet,” Spike added, his hands on her hips. Boldly, the boy stepped towards Willow. “Who did this to you?” the boy asked. “Get rid of him,” Spike whispered. “I know you,” she noted with disgust. “You’re a white hat. How come you’re talking to me like we’re friends?” “’Cause he thinks you’re someone else. He thinks you’re the Willow that belongs in this reality,” came a voice from behind the pair. Spike and Willow turned to look at the bint who’d spoke. Spike was certain that he’d never seen her before, but she knew, she knew what he’d suspected. This Willow was another Willow. “Another me?” Willow asked, confused. “You know this isn’t your world, right?” continued the girl. “I mean, you know you don’t belong here.” “No, this is a dumb world,” Willow responded. “In my world there are people in chains, and we can ride them like ponies.” “You wanna get back there,” the girl prompted. Willow turned to look at him for a moment. Spike was completely unsure what she was thinking. All sound had ceased in the club, the whole room waiting for Willow to answer the girl. “I wanna make this world like mine,” Willow answered, looking into Spike’s blue eyes. “I wanna make this world fun,” she breathed, her lips seeking out Spike’s in a passionate kiss. “What? No! You can’t want to stay here!” the girl yelled. “The Slayer is here. Wouldn’t you rather go back to The Master?” “No, I can be the master here. I can make it the way it was. I just need to turn a few people.” Willow turned to Anya. “I don’t think I’m going to turn you though. You make me cranky.” “Great,” muttered the girl. “Look fine, if you want to stay here, there’s nothing I can do to change it. But I can tell you where this reality’s Willow is…” “You’re just telling her that so she won’t bite you,” Spike snorted. “Maybe we can get the other Willow to play?” Willow suggested with a smirk. “Please?” A hundred naughty scenarios flooded his mind. There was no way he was going to deny this turn of events. “If you want, pet,” he said, letting her go from his embrace. “This is your party.” Willow stared the girl in the eyes again. “Tell me where I am?” she asked sweetly. _______________________ Boredom set in for the master vampire as he waited for Willow get back from kidnapping her other self. The minions were doing a reasonable job of keeping the happy meals on legs calm and contained. The smell of fear was delicious, but he could do without the pathetic whimpering. A good bout of screaming in terror, sure, but the whimpering? It was really starting to get on his nerves. And so he paced. And he smoked. And waited. He was really trying to ignore that bint who’d told Willow she wasn’t from this reality. Anya something or other. There she sat all annoyed, watching the minions like they bored her. No fear at all. There was something not quite right about her. Something that made him something akin to fear her. But only a little, ‘cause, he was the big bad after all. He wasn’t really hungry and looking down on the litres of captive blood pumping away below him on the main floor of the bar wasn’t making him any hungrier. Spike leaned over the edge of the balcony, his eyes locking on Anya’s. She stared back at him. He couldn’t shake the weird feeling she was giving him. Making his way down to the main level of the bar, he walked towards her. “What do you have to do with all this?” the girl asked. “You aren’t from a different reality.” Spike shook his head. “Just along for the ride. Seemed like a fun time.” “Not to rain on your parade, but there’s a slayer in this town. You know it’s not going to work out right?” she questioned. “Well, aren’t you a ray of bleedin’ sunshine.” “Ya, well I might be human now, but I don’t want to die,” she said with a shrug. “If you are going to beg for your life, I’d put a little more effort into it.” “Not begging.” “What were you before?” he asked casually. Anya sighed, the only real emotion she had exhibited thus far. “Vengeance demon.” With a step back, Spike took in this annoying and arrogant girl. If what she said was true, she wouldn’t ever beg for her life. That just made the whole thing a little pointless. She was suddenly a lot more interesting. Unexpectedly, the door opened and in walked Willow. Anya stood and walked towards Willow, Spike following behind. “Did you find the girl?” asked one of the minions. “Yep,” started Willow with authority. “I did.” Spike cocked an eyebrow at her tone, completely changed from the last time they spoke. “Where is she?” Anya asked. “I killed her,” Willow stated bluntly. Willow looked around the room for a moment, Spike’s eyes taking in her every move. The red head’s eyes lighted on Spike for a moment, causing her heart to beat a little faster. Her heart. Spike picked up the sound in an instant. This wasn’t his Willow. This one was very much alive. “And sucked her blood, as we vampires do,” human Willow continued, her false ease crumbling with every moment. “You know,” said Willow, turning to the minion on the door, “I think maybe I heard something out there. Why don’t you go check?” The moron actually did it too. Couldn’t they tell that this was a human? Spike rolled his eyes, but he had to think. If human Willow was here, then the Slayer and her cronies were probably outside staking anyone that this Willow sent outside. Angel was probably with them too. “How…how could you kill her?” Anya asked incredulous. “Did you turn her? You probably turned her.” With a glare, human Willow walked passed the former demon. “I don’t like that you dare question me. Maybe I’ll have my minions take you out back and kill you horribly.” Willow waved at one of the humans on the stage, the guitar player. She wasn’t being too subtle. “Vampires,” Anya muttered. “Always thinking with your teeth.” “She bothered me. She’s so weak and accommodating. She’s always letting people walk all over her. And then she gets cranky with her friends for no reason. I just couldn’t let her live,” Willow continued. “You know,” she noted to a minion nearby, “he’s been gone for a while. Why don’t you go check on him?” She patted him on the shoulder. As the minion headed out the door, Spike stepped towards this human version of the vampire he’d been so attracted to. If she was here, that meant that his Willow, the vampire Willow, was probably captive of the Slayer’s bleedin’ Scoobies. Spike slipped his hand down human Willow’s torso, his hand coming to rest on her hip. He could feel her heart beat wildly as she tried not to react to his touch. She smelled like fear. He pressed her body into his, his eyes taking in the gentle breathing making her breasts rise and fall. “So, how about we kill them all then?” he suggested. “I don’t know if I feel like killing anymore,” human Willow noted nervously. “Feel like doin’ something else then, love?” Spike suggested seductively. This ruse was more fun than he liked to admit. Human Willow twisted in his grip, facing him. “Like playing Parcheesi?” “Not exactly the game I had in mind,” Spike continued, his hands running over the leather that encased her heated human flesh. And then the boy on the stage was down next to him, pulling him away from Willow. “Get your hands off of her,” the boy shouted. If the minions were worth their salt, he would never have gotten this close to the master vampire. With a powerful backhand from Spike, the boy fell to the ground, unconscious, his nose bleeding. “Oz!” human Willow exclaimed, her concern for the boy revealing herself to the rest of the minions, and Anya. Spike looked pleased as he stared down at the unconscious teen boy on the ground. Human Willow did not look happy at all. “You hit him!” she exclaimed, forgetting her act for a moment. In an instant she was standing again. “Or good. ‘Cause hey, evil!” Spike could tell she didn’t have her heart in it anymore. “Sure you are, love,” Spike countered. “How’s about we get to the eating portion of the evening?” Human Willow looked about the room. Anya stared back at her. “Maybe they should start with you!” the former vengeance demon practically shouted. “I like that idea,” Spike murmured circling the human, with an obvious leer. “What? Why would you want to eat me?” Willow asked quietly, oblivious to the double entendre. There was a moan from the boy on the floor, bringing Willow’s attention away from her impending death for a second. Using her distraction, Spike stepped forward, closing the space between him and human Willow. Their eyes met. “Isn’t this the time when you should start screaming, pet?” he half asked, half suggested. He really did like it when they screamed. There was a moment’s hesitation in her eyes; it was all he needed. Cocking his head to the side, he shifted to his demonic guise. He felt her give in as he sank his teeth into her neck. Oh this was going to be fun. _______________________ Tbc…
